Golden Eagles band takes second in Class AAA at Indian Nation

Shelbyville Central's Golden Eagles Marching Band placed second in Class AAA on Saturday at the Indian Nation Invitational at Montgomery Central High School in Clarksville. They missed first by one point.

Out of 15 bands, the Golden Eagles took first overall in Music Ensemble and Music Effect and finished fifth overall. Bedford County Schools says it was the band's best scoring show of the season so far.

The band plays at Austin Peay State University on Oct. 17. It's the first college stadium performance for these students.
