Planning Commission takes up The Willows Phase 2 plat Oct. 22

SHELBYVILLE. The Shelbyville Planning Commission meets Thursday, Oct. 22 at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers at the Planning and Codes building, 100 N. Cannon Blvd.

On the agenda is a final plat for Phase 2 of The Willows on Dover Street. DCC Strategic Realty Partners, LLC is listed as owner, with Northcutt Surveying Inc. as representative. The request is for 20 lots on 3.81 acres on Bedford County Tax Map 079, Parcel 095.00. The tract is zoned R-3 Medium Density Residential. Dover Street is listed as a local road connecting to Lane Parkway.

No old business is listed. Staff also notes joint city/county Planning Commission and BZA training Nov. 9 from 5 to 7 p.m., and an OpenGov online permitting software update.

City Council passed first reading Oct. 8 on rezoning Dover Street lots from R-2 to R-3. That ordinance is separate from this plat vote.
